You can help create more beautiful smiles like Hattie’s. When Hattie is at the hospice she always has a beaming smile guaranteed to brighten everyone's day.

Hattie has a rare genetic life-limiting condition, global developmental delay, and epilepsy. She needs 24hr care, which can have a huge impact on the whole family.  When Hattie visits the hospice for respite we can fill her day with smiles, fun and laughter.  Her family can then have a break from providing full-time care and the comfort of knowing she is being well looked after.

Although she is non-verbal, the way her eyes light up and her massive smile tells us she loves being there. Here are a few ways your donations could make a difference: 

A donation to Alexander Devine's Spring of Smiles means that you are helping us create precious smiles for local children with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions and their families.

Here are a few ways your donations could make a difference:

A gift of £5 could fund arts and crafts resources to create smiles for a child at our hospice, in their own home or in hospital.

A gift of £21 could help bring smiles to a family by funding an activity for them at our Spring Family Fun Day.

A gift of £51 could gift a child with complex needs, time with an Alexander's Nurse and allow their parents a much needed break.

A gift of £93 could fund a splash session in our hydrotherapy pool, time for a family to come together and have fun.

Why not buy a handmade knitted chick or friend! 

Our wonderful volunteer knitters have handcrafted an array of knitted chicks and friends, each containing a chocolate egg. These adorable knitted chicks and their friends make the perfect Easter tweet and are available to buy for £3, with 100% of the proceeds going to Alexander Devine.
